1st of 3, North Region B.E.S.T. Training Camps

  This is an all hands on training camp for anyone in the North Region interested in learning the B.E.S.T. system as developed by USA Archery Head Coach Coach Kisik Lee . If you want to learn to shoot this system or coach this system, this is for you. Each person will start with stretch bands and advance to low poundage bows by the end  of the 2nd day. Emphasis will be placed on teaching each person how to execute each step of the KSL Shot Cycle correctly. This training is good for all disciplines, compound, bare bow, traditional bow etc. You do not need to bring anything except your favorite pen or pencil. Notebooks and all training aids will be provided. (It is recommended you bring a Rigid Formaster see below)

  This will be the first in a series of three camps aimed at bringing archers and coaches to a high level of proficiency. In order to register for Camps 2 and 3 the 1st camp must be taken as each camp will be more advanced. This is actually a three day camp for coaches. Those coaches who identify themselves as wanting to continue to learn to coach this system will meet for one day midway between the 1st and 2nd camp and receive coaching specific instruction. These coaches will assist with the 2nd and 3rd camps. The 3rd camp will not be the end. We will continue to work to improve archers and coaches alike. This track is important for coaches who want mentoring in the BEST system. I will continue to work with any coach taking this training to bring them to as high a level as possible in the future.

Requirements:

1.) To Take the coaches track, Level 2 or greater certification is required, or established coaching history. This is not a  coaches certification class. This camp is intended to teach current archers and coaches the BEST system.

2.) Each person should order a rigid formaster to bring to the camp. Here Please look at how they are sized and order the correct size.

    All other training aids will be provided
