1st Annual Chicago Cup

Saturday Day 1

    The field crew arrived and started work at 6:Am! Everything was ready to go on time and the field looked great. The "same two" officials ran things smoothly as ever. 30 Archers turned out for the 1st annual Chicago Cup. By the last end of the 2nd long distance round it was starting to look like a thunderstorm would set in prior to the start of the Olympic Round. After a little deliberation it was decided to postpone the OR until Sunday. Interestingly the weather had been fine all day but the forecast called for thunderstorms in the afternoon. Well as it turned out the worst weather we had  occurred  during the time we were deciding to postpone the Olympic Round.
