Chicagoland JOAD Won 38 National Medals In 2002!
|
An African proverb says "it takes a village to raise a child". Nowhere is that more true than in JOAD. It takes the cooperative efforts of parents, coaches, and involved club members to create an environment rich in the nourishment necessary to allow young competitors to be their best. So as Chicagoland JOAD salutes these champions we also thank the hard working club members who give their time and energy to keep the club running. We thank the host clubs for the facilities we use. We thank the parents and coaches for their tireless work. Finally we thank the competitors for giving their all and contributing to the image of our club. We also want to thank the non-resident members and their coaches. They are Brenda Temperley and Ryan Day coached by Terry Wunderle, Alison Cordes coached by Rich and Diane Hooper. Thanks for selecting our club.
In addition, Chicagoland JOAD had four members win places on the 2003 Junior United States Archery Team, (Alison Cordes, Corey McCormick, Stephanie Miller and Brenda Temperley), three National Champions (Ryan Day, Jonathan Miller and Stephanie Miller), two 2002 Jr. World Team members (Jonathan Miller and Brenda Temperley) and four Medalist in the NFAA Indoor Nationals (list below).
