Chicagoland JOAD Don Branson Memorial Turkey Trot Proclamation

October 16 th, 2001 the board of directors of Chicagoland JOAD Club with a unanimous vote adopted the following proclamation.
The tournament commonly known as "The Annual Turkey Trot" shall be forever known as "The Don Branson Memorial Turkey Trot".
This being the Don Branson Memorial Turkey Trot.
And Don Branson having left us with one phrase that will remind us of him forever.
"One arrow does not an archer make"
That at the first memorial Turkey Trot and every Turkey Trot that follows for all eternity.
On the first day of competition, prior to the first round of competition.
One JOAD kid will be selected to shoot one arrow after the Tournament Director gives
TweetT,Tweet,..........Tweet.
This shall be performed after the practice ends and prior to scoring ends.
With no other archer coming to the line and everyone giving a moment of silence
until the Tournament Director gives Tweet,Tweet,Tweet.
At this time everyone in attendance shall point to the selected archer and pronounce.
"One arrow does not an archer make" .
